Dr. Bez and Dr. Zody are recognized as leading experts in the State of Ohio for TMJ and Sleep Apnea treatment. Both doctors are also one of an elite group of dentists that have earned the designation of ABDSM Diplomate from the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. To be considered for this prestigious title, our doctors went through a rigorous process including extensive continuing education, examination, and submission of numerous clinical case studies to the board for review. Dr. Bez has been requested locally for interviews and informational videos including II Good Day Columbus".

Michael Bezbatchenko, DDS

Dr. Bezbatchenko, known most affectionately as Dr. Bez, has been serving the Central Ohio community since 1977. Well respected, and known for his caring chair side manner, Dr. Bez has been a maverick in exploring and implementing the latest technology in his practice to improve the quality of care for his patients. Dr. Bez is also a leading expert on the causes of sleep apnea and TMJD about the study and treatment of sleep apnea, and in 2012 he founded the Central Ohio TMJD Dental Sleep Therapy Center. At his therapy center he offers state of the art treatments, in some cases actually curing the problem, not just masking the issue at hand.
Continuing his quest for excellence, Dr. Michael Bezbatchenko joined a select group of doctors when he earned the prestigious designation of American Board of Sleep Medicine Diplomate. This status is presented to those few who have completed a thorough vetting process which includes submitting case studies, copious hours of continuing education and an arduous examination.
If you ask Dr. Bezbatchenko’s patients what they love most about him, they will most likely tell you it is that he treats them like family. In fact when Dr. Bez refers to his patients, he often refers to them as part of his extended family. They will also share how Dr. Bez takes the time to explain each treatment before he begins, and always puts their comfort first.
In his free time Dr. Bezbatchenko loves nothing more than spending time with his family. He is also an avid golfer, OSU, and Cleveland Browns fan.
Dr. Bezbatchenko graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1976. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Columbus Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of CAD/CAM Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is a past instructor of Restorative Dentistry at The Ohio State University.
Gretchen R. Zody, DDS
Diplomate, ABDSM
Dr. Zody received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State
University in 1988, graduating summa cum laude. She completed a two-year
Advanced General Dentistry/ General Practice Residency at The Ohio State
University in 1990, serving as chief resident 1989-1990.
Dr. Zody has practiced dentistry in Westerville since 1994. She enjoys getting to
know her patients and strives to help them achieve optimal dental health. Dr.
Zody believes that quality patient care depends on ongoing education. She
attends many continuing education courses each year to stay informed of new
techniques, materials, current research and advances in technology. She enjoys
courses in all aspects of dentistry. She has completed the AADSM Mastery
Program and has attained Diplomate status with the American Board of Dental
Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Zody is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Columbus Dental Society, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Zody enjoys traveling, attending concerts and sporting events with her husband, and spending time with her adult children. Diplomate, American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine

Jennifer LeBron
Clinical and Administrative Assistant
Jennifer graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Exercise Science. Since then, she has been working in the field of physical rehabilitation for over 12 years and is very passionate about helping others to feel their best. She is very excited to continue helping people reduce pain associated with their TMJD as well as improving quality of life through the use of oral appliances and better sleep.
Jennifer was born and raised in Ohio and likes to spend her time outdoors with her husband and her dog, Roxy-Boxy.
Molly Thompson
Clinical and Administrative Assistant
Molly has over two decades of experience in the dental industry. She retains the passion for the field that inspired her in the early days. Molly loves the opportunity to work with a practice with a focus on the latest advancements. She has seen these new technologies make a dramatic impact on patient care and comfort.
In Molly’s free time she enjoys traveling, cheering on her favorite teams and, most of all, spending time with her family. She is also an active member in her church.
Britni Hooten
Clinical and Administrative Assistant
Britni is currently pursuing a degree in Exercise Science, expecting graduate in May of 2024. For 10 years Britni has been committed to helping individuals improve their overall well being. She has a love for learning, and thrives on discovering new and innovative ways to assist people in improving their health.
